Carin has been a tremendous mentor in my daughter's life. She reached Juliana by talking and speaking to her about anything.   She was having some difficulty in school with a few girls and Carin provided her with tools to cope with these life issues. She had weekly FaceTime sessions with my daughter and together made tools to help her. We used the tools the way Carin recommended.   I told Carin, “It’s Working.” I began noticing a change in my daughter’s behavior and attitude.  Juliana has regained most of her confidence back in herself and has learned to speak up when something or someone is bothering her or even when someone is trying to pick on or bully her. Carin provided tools that are unique and simple for her to use on a daily basis. I am very lucky to have Carin to help my daughter.

Ms. Bail’s Classroom is a literacy goldmine. She is an enthusiastic, intelligent, resourceful, creative and knowledgeable teacher. She cares deeply about her students, and develops strong and supportive relationships with parents. She is comfortable with change, enjoys challenges and is willing to think outside of the box. One parent summed up a length page of accolades by stating, “Im beyond grateful that my family has been touched by Ms. Bail for two years at Baker.”
Sharon Fougner, Principal Great Neck
In addition to her excellent academic program of study, just one visit to Ms. Bail’s classroom confirms her love for children as well as her commitment to social growth. Ms. Bail runs her classroom in a caring collaborative manner, and empowers children to take an active role in their learning. It is amazing to see her current first graders, no matter the task assigned, perform such a self-assured and confident manner. The smiles on their faces reveal their admiration for Ms. Bail and their interactions with one another as a testament to the safe and caring classroom environment created by Ms. Bail.
Kelly Newman, Asst Superintendent of Instruction-Great Neck
Ms. Bail had reached out to us on behalf of my child's sensitivities. I have to say that in this area, Ms. Bail was key in helping us to come with a plan that helped us to help and encourage my child to express himself with words instead of tears. Also, we see measures of maturity this year especially in the arena of not always being the “winner”. Ms. Bail is a cut above the rest. In my best description: She is simply “Albert Einstein and Mary Poppins rolled into one”
Cathy and Yaron Lissack, Mom and Dad
She has fun with children with a lot of drama and excitement that gave self confidence. She always let them express themselves first and then Carin uses the strengths of the child to help them. She also taught them how to solve disagreements and conflicts using empowerment tools.

A former student remarks after finding out Ms. Bail will be leaving Kindergarten.
“Its not a good thing because she’s such an amazing Kindergarten teacher and now all the kids coming to Baker won’t have her for Kindergarten.”
Brenner, Former Student
She is so passionate about her job and her students, and as a parent, I am forever indebted to her. I really feel that Ms. Bail teaches each child as an individual, custom designing strategies for both the students and the parents. Chloe began the year struggling with reading. Ms. Bail sent home an envelope with fun and simple strategies for me and Chloe to work with, which really empowered me to be able to assist in helping my daughter.

There is always that one teacher that makes you excited and that you will always remember her ways of teaching and you’ll love her for years to come. The love and support you show the children and their parents, is greatly appreciated. Thank you for letting the parents be a part of your class.
GIanna Cerbone-Teoli, Mom
Ms. Bail has set a functional and beautiful classroom setting for the beginning of Ava’s school years with a sense of value and security outside of the home and important human and social skills on how to interact with classmates and respect authority figures. She has also taught me how to embrace and apply new teaching methods with all three of my children and has helped to create a happy 6-year old child that enjoys the value of a good teacher and the importance of education.
